Photographer — Paris and Marseille
Between intimate gaze and collective narrative
My photographic practice is closely tied to my singular experience of the world, moving between observer and participant, a search for the absolute and contemplation.
A situated gaze
Seeing from the place one inhabits
My experience of queer life, my fascination with architecture and my search for connection with others are reflected throughout my work.
Background
Technology, culture and commitment
Drawn to technology and science, I pursued a humanities education in film, art history and history. My early commitments led me towards culture and cultural mediation, then the defence of LGBTQIA+ minority rights.
Photographic language
Bringing past and present into dialogue
In black and white or colour, digital or analogue, my photography explores the tensions between past and present, the collective and intimate truth. It is a shared search for meaning and my preferred means of expression.
From intimacy to the stage
A world in performance
My work spans glances exchanged in the intimacy of a confined room and collective moments experienced before hundreds of people: candid portraits, the colours of a queer world, and individual or collective performances.
Shared narrative
Creating a space for convergence
I seek to create a space where individual experiences converge into a collective narrative, where each person can find an echo of their own story while opening themselves to those of others.
